When faced with such as question I tend to wax poetic, so with apologies to William Shakespeare, here’s a short soliloquy …
To Spend, or not to Spend, that is the question:
Whether ‘tis nobler in the mind to Save
And put away money for rainy days
Or to take armloads of CASH against a sea of troubles
And Give so that you might benefit friends and neighbors
In reality, the answer is a bit of all three – spend some, save some, and give some away to charities, family members, etc. However, I tend to spend, so I guess that makes my winning personality that of a “spender.” And it seems like it’s been that way since I first got an allowance, a paper route, and even babysitting money.
